So who am I?  I’m currently a Network Administrator for a mid-size public utility.  I am the entire IT department and my duties include all things technical.  This means, not only do I have to maintain the network, but I also maintain the SCADA system, LAN/WAN duties, Email, Blackberries, AV, Web Development, Database Management, Break/Fix, End User Support, Training, Wireless, Video Surveillance, Card Access and anything else that needs to be done.  Basically, I’m chief cook and bottle washer.
I’ve been working professionally in IT for about 18 years, and working and playing with computers for about 28 years.  I worked my way up through the early years of personal computers starting off on TRS-80’s and Apple ][e’s.  I’ve down the gambit of computers through the years from Commodore’s and TI’s through 8088’s and on up to modern day machines of course.

So what will you find here, who knows?  I’m not a really big fan of blogs, the internet is polluted already with crap, but I started this mostly as a method of taking notes on the stuff I work on daily.  If someone else finds what I write useful, that’s great, if not, you’re more than welcome to move onto to something more useful.

If I make a mistake on something I’m writing, or if you have a good idea on something that I’m working with, you’re welcome to leave note, if you’re just going to leave spam, you may as well bugger off now.
