Sometimes, you just really need to destroy your hard drives so they cannot be read. Quite some time ago I created a few videos on drive destruction. Once the weather gets warm, I’ll probably reshoot the ones currently here and make some more. I have stacks of drives that need destroyed. |
| The picture is of a platter mobile I made out of some old drives. If you’re really careful with a slow drill, it’s fairly easy to drill a small hole through the platters. I used the magnet wire out from the heads of one of the drives to hang the platters and used a single strand of CAT5 wire to hang it from the ceiling. | |
